If you're a boxer, casual, amateur or pro, you know this was an early stoppage. For those of you that are just viewers sitting on a couch with a beer in your hand, in boxing there are things known as rolling with the punches and testing your opponents power. That's what the experienced Iwasa was doing and he was looking to take MJ into deep waters in the championship rounds even though I still gave MJ the edge in winning the fight. However, I have to be very honest and this is the result of having a championship fight in Humo Arena, Tashkent, Uzbekistan where the judges, ref, matchmaker, and promoter are all supporting the home champion. Nevertheless, Congratulations to MJ. I look forward to seeing him show his caliber in future competitive fights. Maybe versus Cool Boy Steph, Pantera, or even the Monster, but he needs more experience before he can take on those champions. In this fight they robbed him of that experience by stopping the fight too early. Every action has consequences.

I was watching the last 15 seconds, and thought this was a bad early stoppage. But if you pay attention to the first minute of R5 Murodjon was bombarding iwasa with punches and ref kinda got suspicious of iwasa's state. Maybe, you can also notice this if you watch round 5 from the beginning. The last 15 secs was just a confirmation for the ref that he should end it or else iwasa could have been hurt very bad. He was just not reacting to anything

I think Iwasa was getting stopped that round anyway, he was buzzed and taking a lot of shots with lots of time in the round but it was premature.
